Thornton Cleveleys Horticultural Society
80th Anniversary (1941 – 2021)
FLOWER, ARTS & CRAFTS SHOW
SATURDAY 13th AUGUST 2022
1pm – 6pm
at Millfield Science & Performing Arts College,
Belvedere Road, Thornton, FY5 5DG
After two years without our show, we are looking forward to holding our 2022 Flower, Arts and Crafts Show, when we can celebrate achieving the Society’s 80th and 81st Anniversaries.
Our annual Flower, Arts & Crafts Show is your opportunity to show off the results of your green fingers, crafting dexterity and culinary skills and perhaps win acclaim as best in show. It is also an opportunity to marvel at what other people have achieved making the show a fantastic family day out – everyone is welcome.
New this year is our Craft Fair, an opportunity for you to browse stalls and talk to local crafts people about some of their fabulous work.
The Show itself includes competitive classes in horticulture, home-crafts, handicrafts, needlework, floral art, photography and children’s classes. All horticultural classes are now open for everyone to enter. There are competitive classes open to people of all ages and abilities. So, if you can grow fruit, flowers or vegetables, have a nice hanging basket or an indoor plant, can knit, sew, bake cakes or make jam, can paint pictures, arrange flowers or are a keen photographer, why not join in?
The 2022 Class Competition Schedule is now available for you to view the classes. Please also read the Notes and Rules for Exhibitors. If you would like to enter a class in the Flower Show, you should complete the entry form by Tuesday 9th August
