Flower, Arts and Crafts Show

Thornton Cleveleys Horticultural Society

80th Anniversary

1pm – 6pm

at Millfield Science & Performing Arts College,
Belvedere Road, Thornton, FY5 5DG

After two years without our show, we are looking forward to celebrating our 80th Anniversary event in August 2022.

Our annual Flower, Arts & Crafts Show is your opportunity to show off the results of your green fingers, crafting dexterity and culinary skills and perhaps win acclaim as best in show. It is also an opportunity to marvel at what other people have achieved making the show a fantastic family day out – everyone is welcome.

New this year is our Craft Fair, an opportunity for you to browse stalls and talk to local crafts people about some of their fabulous work.

The Show itself includes competitive classes in horticulture, home-crafts, handicrafts, needlework, floral art, photography and children’s classes. There are competitive classes open to people of all ages and abilities.  So, if you can grow fruit, flowers or vegetables, have a nice hanging basket or an indoor plant, can knit, sew, bake cakes or make jam, can paint pictures, arrange flowers or are a keen photographer, why not join in?

The 2022 Show Schedule will be compiled nearer the date, however, the 2019 Class Competition Schedule will give you an idea of what to expect. You can browse the pages on this site to find the class(es) you may wish to enter. When the 2022 schedule is available, you will be able to view the classes and download the entry form for completion and return before the due date. If you would prefer to receive a printed copy of the schedule, please let us have your name and postal details using the form here and we will send you a copy when they are available.
2019 Exhibitors  – A printed Competition Schedule will automatically be posted out to you in early July. If you would prefer to view the competitive classes online and download an entry form, please let us know, using the contact page, so we can remove your name from our schedule mailing list.

Along with the exhibits in the  Show hall, there will be the Society’s Tombola, Raffle and Vase Stalls, which, with the other displays and refreshments, make it well worth a visit for the whole family.

If you are interested in sponsoring a class as a company or as an individual, in the 2020 Show, we would love to hear from you, please contact us using the form here.

Our show runs with the support of our exhibitors and our excellent show team made up of members, the committee and friends of the Society. As always, we are grateful for the generosity of our 2019 SHOW PATRONS and SHOW SPONSORS.

If you can volunteer to help us stage our show in anyway, please contact us using the form here.

Finally, if you are just looking for a fabulous day out, come along on the day, everyone is welcome. Admission to the Show is by donation.

Hope to see you there!
