GARDENING TALKS are held at Christ Church, Meadows Avenue, Thornton, FY5 2TW and start at 7.30pm. They are usually held on the third Wednesday of the month (please see below for exceptions). There is a small admission charge to cover costs. Members (£3) and non members (£4) are welcome. Refreshments are available. There is free parking at the venue. An illustrated talk from Paul who is Chairman of the North Fylde Photographic Society and a photography judge. His portfolio includes fabulous monochrome pictures and some impressive nature action shots of wild animals and birds. He also has a great knowledge of photograph composition and digital editing for the best presentation.

Tom and Caroline Luke from Goosnargh
Tom and Caroline open their garden at Dale House as part of the National Garden Scheme. They have developed a garden with all year round interest; beautifully landscaped and comprising of limestone rockeries, well stocked herbaceous borders, raised alpine beds, well stocked koi pond, lawn areas, greenhouse and polytunnel. They specialise in alpines rare shrubs and trees, and have a large collection unusual bulbs.
There are no gardening talks during July and August as you will all be too busy enjoying your garden!
